Munstenteiger & Severin, P.A. is pleased to announce that we have expanded our services to include mediation.  Our attorney's have completed the Alternative Dispute Resolution training courses in the areas of:  Family Law, Civil Mediation and Arbitration, making them MN Qualified Rule 114 Neutrals.

In today's Family Court system, you will be required to participate in mediation before you will be allowed to request a hearing.  A popular trend in the area of family law, mediation provides a peaceful, non-confrontational and cost-effective solution to many family law situations:  whether it is ending a marriage or solving post-decree conflicts.  Mediation is the first step towards settling a conflict that does not appear to have an immediate, agreeable conclusion.  

As mediators, our role is to facilitate positive, productive communication and provide the tools necessary to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.  Through mediation, both parties will gain a clearer understanding of the issues at hand, themselves and each other.  A successful mediation can be a very enlightening and positive experience for all parties involved.  The new techniques learned for successful communication provide a solid foundation for the future relationship of the entire family.
