For the past ten years, Debra J. Klatt has been an Associate Attorney at Munstenteiger & Severin, P.A.   Deb is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and has been a member of the Minnesota Bar since 1997.

While attending college at the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse, Deb became more and more interested in our judicial system.  The idea that the law can bring solutions, fairness and equality to all people is an idea that led Deb to make the decision to pursue a legal career.

At the University of Minnesota Law School, Deb was exposed to many different areas of the law, but discovered that family law would be the practice area for her.  Being "of service" and working with  people who really needed her help was always important to Deb, and family law seemed to be a logical choice.

After graduating from law school, Deb was a judicial law clerk.  Starting off "clerking" was a great way to become exposed to the inner workings of the court system, real life court procedure, and to be able to work on a wide variety of cases at all stages of the court process.

Deb is a compassionate attorney with the ability to make her clients feel at ease.  By really listening, Deb is able to reassure her clients, as well as counsel them on their various legal options.  Deb is someone who makes a positive impact in her clients' lives.  Her clients have always felt that she had their best interest in mind and that she fought hard for them to receive the best possible outcome.
